Return to School information

Dear Parents,

Parents of new students are welcome to attend parent induction whilst their child is attending their new student induction on 30th or 2nd September.

Meet the teacher events will take place in the week commencing 16th September once children are settled into their new classes.

The school day starts at 7.50am with the national anthem. Please note children who arrive after 7.50am usually miss at least part of lesson one. It is therefore important that children are in school before the National Anthem begins at 7:50am.

Lessons end at 2.35pm. The side gate will open for parent collection from 2.45pm onwards once children have moved to pick up points. There may be a delay opening the gate for the first week or so whilst children settle into the end of day routines. Buses leave the site at around 3pm ​and their journeys can be tracked on the UTrack system if your child is wearing their school badge.


2017-18 fees must be cleared and 5% re-registration paid before 2nd September for your child's name to be added to a class list. Children who have not re-registered will not be allowed to attend class. All grades up to G7 are over subscribed. Re registration deadline was 5th July. Places will now be allocated on a first come first served basis until each grade or the school reaches its capacity. The school office will be open during the holidays for report collection and fee payment.

The School Accounts Section will be closed from 15th July to 1st August.

Saturday to Thursday                                

Timing:  9:30 am - 1:30 pm

The School Administration including Admissions, Accounts and Reception will be open from 26th August 8:30am to 2:30pm.

School Buses

Bus coordinators will be available in school from 26th August. New parents who have not yet registered for the bus and those parents of existing students who have relocated since registering are requested to contact the bus coordinators before 10th of August to register or confirm their new address. Email address of the Bus Supervisor- supervisorbasma@vsbt.ae
