The Foundation Stage at Al Basma British School we plan the curriculum based around the children’s interests. We know that this creates enthusiastic, curious and engaged learners. We foster an atmosphere where children feel valued and supported.

The play based curriculum we offer supports children to become more imaginative, creative enables them to be better prepared to tackle problems and solve them confidently.

Our Teachers collaborate to plan opportunities for children to investigate through play. Teachers observe the children to plan next steps and provide personalized learning opportunities.

Our FS children learn independence, and how they are able to guide their own learning supported by our skilled team of teaching staff. Children have access to indoor and outdoor learning environments throughout the day and these are enhanced regularly to reflect the interests of the children.
