Al Basma British School students receive a robust, creative, vibrant, academic challenging and inspiring 21st Century education, making the schooling years an enjoyable time filled with rich and memorable experiences, preparing them for life. Each student’s unique skills and talents are released and enhanced in an environment of care and mutual respect; one that promotes resilience, confidence, self-esteem and self-management skills.
Al Basma British School is a healthy, safe environment within which students can enjoy learning, make progress and achieve high standards. OUR VISION
Rooted in Tradition, Growing Towards the Future
Al Basma British School proudly traces its origins back to 1980 as Giggles English School, a testament to its enduring commitment to education in Abu Dhabi. Relaunched in 2014, Al Basma continues the tradition of providing a high-quality British education, now in a modern, purpose-built campus that has expanded over the years. Phase 1 of the campus was built 9 years ago, and Phase 2, which houses the primary school, was completed just 4 years ago. This blend of rich history and contemporary facilities positions Al Basma as a unique institution where students benefit from a legacy of excellence while thriving in a 21st-century learning environment.
